Understanding Window Perf

What is it? What is it used for? Perforated window film (window perf) is an adhesive-backed, perforated material with full color printing on one side. It is designed to let you put your printed message, picture, or logo on a window, door, or vehicle which will be visible from the outside, but you will still be able to see out from the inside.

This material opens a new world of promotional opportunities by turning glass doors and windows into prime advertising space. Window perf is applied to the outside of your window and viewed from the outside. It works well for vehicles and store fronts.

Before and After

Types

Windows and Doors

At Signs by Connie, we use a 70/30 window perf for storefront windows and doors. This means that the material has a perforated 70% printable area and 30% open area. 30% of the light from outside will shine through the material. The look from the outside during the day is a fully covered window which provides some privacy on the inside and advertising on the outside.
